December Holiday Shop Volunteers Needed!
Holiday Gift Shop Time!
We need your help! Volunteers will help students shop, pay and wrap gifts for their families.
Volunteer slots are broken up into class shopping times. We ideally need 6 volunteers per class but if volunteers can stay for larger blocks of time please do so!
Dates: December 8-12, 2025
Shifts available: Many! Between the times of 8am-230pm

Become a VIP Volunteer
Before you can start volunteering at Sunfield Elementary (or any Hays CISD campus), you’ll need to become an approved Hays CISD VIP(Volunteer in Public Schools).
This quick and easy process helps keep our campuses safe and welcoming for all students, staff, and families.
Please be sure to complete your VIP application at least two weeks before your first volunteer event so there’s plenty of time for the background check and for you to receive your volunteer badge.
Step 1: Get Approved
Start by completing the Hays CISD VIP (Volunteers in Public Schools) application. This includes a background check and usually takes just a few days to process.
Step 2: VIP Badge Once you’re approved, email a photo of yourself to: sfes.vips@hayscisd.net. Please allow 2–3 days for processing. You can then pick up your printed badge at the Sunfield Elementary front office.
Step 3: Get Involved
Once approved, you’re ready to jump in! Browse upcoming volunteer opportunities below and sign up for any events, programs, or needs that interest you.
